Facilities & Resources

With more than 860 beds, the medical center offers an exceptional breadth and depth of clinical experience. Cedars-Sinai has ample educational resources and infrastructure to support its more than 350 house staff, and serves as a major teaching hospital.

All neurology trainees are housed in the new LEED Gold-certified, 11-story, 820,000-square-foot Pavilion. The 6th floor is dedicated to neurosciences; it includes faculty and trainee offices as well as the neurosciences clinic. All neurology residents have access to workstations, conference rooms and meeting spaces for daily rounds and conferences.

Saperstein, which is home to the Neuroscience Critical Care Unit, is Cedars-Sinai's 250,000-square-foot, 150-bed intensive care building. The recently expanded 24-bed Neuroscience Critical Care Unit on the building's 8th floor is one of the largest in the nation, and is a shared resource of the departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery.
