Use Service Center to submit research technology and services requests to Enterprise Information Services (EIS) under the categories listed below. All categories are searchable in Service Center.
Submit a request for a new technology project or inquiry. This is the primary path for entry into EIS, which includes intake, prioritization, technology review and risk assessment.
Basis for submitting a Project Request:
- Formal project request for prioritization and approvals
- Request relatively understood
- Defined start, end, scope, resources and funding
Basis for submitting an Inquiry Request:
- Discuss an idea or new technology seen at conferences or used at other organizations
- Request vendor market analysis
- Perform fit/feasibility assessment
Submit an EIS Research Informatics and Scientific Computing Core (RISCC) request for:
- General EIS research consult to discuss your idea/project and to receive information on Cedars-Sinai infrastructure/facilities and research data use
- Technical write-up for a grant related to the following:
- Research facilities statement
- Data security
- Grant/contract applications
- Data management plans
- Project safeguards/data attestation
Submit an EIS research systems request for:
- Support, enhancements and interfaces for enterprise research applications and enterprise research software
Submit a Service Center request for any of the following:
- High-performance computing cluster access
- Research file share or storage for principal investigator (PI)/lab
- Research server (virtual or physical; local or cloud-hosted)
- Special request form for nonstandard items
Submit a research data intelligence request for:
- Application programming interface (API) development
- File movement/file transfer protocol (FTP)
- Automation/pipeline development
- Programming
- System integration
- Database development/extract, transform, load (ETL)
- Reporting—Tableau, not Honest Enterprise Research Broker (HERB) data extracts
- Reporting—all other requests
- Consult
