Lab Members

Kausik is a project scientist who is working toward understanding basic immunology and host-pathogen interactions. He has teaching experience as an assistant professor in India and enjoys collaboration. Apart from his profession, Kausik is a traveler, explorer and visual storyteller, and he loves to cook.

June received his bachelor's degree in integrative biochemistry from UCLA. As an intern at Cedars-Sinai, he investigated immunotherapy targeting brain tumors. In January 2020, he joined the Gibb Laboratory as a research associate. His research is focused on novel mechanisms of cytokine production and their role in complications following transfusion.

Keshav is a graduating senior at UCLA (2022) studying microbiology, immunology and genetics. He hopes to work for a year or two before getting his doctorate in immunology. He's very interested in immunology research and hopes to leverage this to create treatments for cancers. In his free time, he loves to hike, read books, watch movies and spend time with friends.

Arezo is a UCLA sophomore studying molecular, cell and developmental biology as well as global health and disability studies. She plans to pursue medical school after UCLA. She is passionate about immunology and hopes to research potential new treatments. Arezo loves working on graphic design, hiking, exploring L.A. and watching Marvel movies.
