Lab Members

Jennifer Dukov
Research Associate II

Jennifer received her BA in biology and her BS in English from the University of California, Irvine (UCI), in 2019. Her involvement in research started with the Fortin Lab, where they used electrophysiology techniques to study the dynamics between the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex in episodic memory. Since shifting to hematology-oncology, she has enjoyed learning about the complex and often paradoxical interactions between the EphrinB ligand and its EphB receptor in the context of multiple myeloma. She is excited to continue her research at Cedars-Sinai, applying novel cell therapies to deliver therapeutic macromolecules.

Dana Tran
Research Associate I

Dana received her bachelor's of science in neuroscience and education minor from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2020. She studied the mechanisms of pericyte response in stroke recovery at the Carmichael lab. At Cedars-Sinai, Dana performs lab maintenance duties as well as conducts research projects to target oncogenes and understand cancer growth in the context of its microenvironment.
