Sanjoy Kumar Ghorai, PhD
Project Scientist
Dr. Ghorai specializes in nanomaterials, hydrogel synthesis, biomaterials and 3D-bioprinting for bone and cartilage regeneration. His research focuses on developing an injectable hydrogel for avascular osteonecrosis and 3D-printed biomimetic scaffolds for osteochondral tissue repair. He earned his PhD in Biomaterials and Bioengineering at IIT Kharagpur and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
