Michelle Jones, PhD, graduated with her doctorate from the Cedars-Sinai Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences and Translational Medicine in 2013 after five years studying the genetics of complex diseases such as polycystic ovary syndrome, insulin resistance and Type 2 diabetes. Utilizing a range of molecular tools, including high-throughput genotyping methylation and gene expression, Jones works with the endocrine genetics team to generate and analyze data to better understand the basis of these common, complex disorders.
