Furuya Lab

Personal Statement

Hideki Furuya, PhD, is a translational molecular biologist with a strong background in animal cancer models. He earned PhD from Meiji University, where he studied animal carcinogenesis. During his postdoctoral trainings at the Medical University of South Carolina and the University of Hawaii, he was trained in molecular biology. As junior faculty at the University of Hawaii Cancer Center, he was trained cancer biology. In 2019, he established his laboratory at Cedars-Sinai.
