Davy Weissenbacher, PhD, earned his doctorate in Artificial Intelligence from the Université Sorbonne Paris Nord. He applies his background in Logic and Science computing to design advanced Natural Language Processing pipelines, integrating supervised and semi-supervised machine learning for the need of health applications.
Ivan Flores received his bachelor of science degree in computer science at the University of Texas in 2008. His current interests include natural language processing, machine learning, and data mining for extracting health-related information in social media and forums.
Yunwen Wang received her PhD in communication from the University of Southern California. She has a MS degree from Purdue University and undergraduate training from the University of Macau and Nanyang Technological University. Her research focuses on health communication, social/mobile media, human-computer interaction and computational social science, with an emphasis on social justice and equity.
Agustin Gutierrez completed his medical degree from the University of Monterrey in Mexico. He concluded his internship year in Houston’s medical center and has done research at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. His current research interests include pediatrics and computational biomedicine.
