Lab Members

Patrick C. Martin
Research Data Scientist

Patrick earned his BS in biochemistry and cellular biology at the University of Liege, Belgium, a master’s in molecular genetics at Uppsala University, Sweden, and a PhD in biological sciences and bioinformatics at the University of Essex, U.K. Patrick develops computational tools to analyze, study and understand spatial omics data.

Hyobin Kim
Postdoctoral Researcher

Hyobin Kim received her MSc in bio and brain engineering from KAIST, and her PhD in systems science from State University of New York at Binghamton. Currently, she is handling single-cell and spatial transcriptomics data and exploring niche-specific transcriptional change. Her research is focused on the development of computational tools for understanding cell-cell interactions and inferring gene regulatory networks.

Sanaz Panahandeh, PhD

Sanaz received her PhD in physics with specialty in computational biophysics from the University of California, Riverside (UCR). She studied self-assembly of viruses and other protein cages during her PhD. She recently joined the Won Lab.
