Please note that the Smidt Heart Institute can only accept incoming trainees who are either citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. eligible for licensure in the state of California. In addition, the program accepts H-1B visa holders who are eligible for a California license or Postgraduate Training Authorization Letter.
The clinical fellowship position starts July 1. Applications are due 18 months ahead. Interviews are conducted from January to March of the calendar year preceding the year of the start of the fellowship.
