The Molecular Genetic Pathology Fellowship is a one-year Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education—accredited program that provides comprehensive training in molecular genetic pathology including molecular test strategies and application of testing, as well as test interpretation and communication with physicians and patients regarding test results.

The program mission is to

  • Provide outstanding education in all aspects of molecular genetic pathology.
  • Prepare fellows for a clinical and/or research career in molecular genetic pathology.
  • Prepare fellows to pass the American Board of Pathology Molecular Genetic Pathology subspecialty exam.
  • Prepare fellows to become effective educators.
The program provides ample resources including a generous annual educational stipend and support for clinical and translational research.
