Anesthesia residency education at Cedars-Sinai is a time of intense didactic and clinical training. At the same time, the Department of Anesthesiology is dedicated to providing a high quality of life for its residents. Our residents work hard and provide excellent patient care every day, but they also enjoy life outside the hospital. The residents spend time all across Los Angeles and Southern California; you will find them at all the different sporting events, concerts, and the hottest restaurants. Our residents have also presented at conferences across the country and volunteered both domestically and internationally.

We will endeavor to provide and to teach the most appropriate care for spinal ailments. We will pursue these goals in a collaborative fashion with any other entity or resource willing and able to assist.
Medical Mission to Guatemala
The Cedars-Sinai team, which consists of roughly 80 people, travels to a rural village with equipment and supplies where they set-up a clinic and an operating room. The team sees hundreds of patients, most of whom have no access to healthcare. The mission is in partnership with HELPS International, a nonprofit group that organizes a wide range of volunteer activities in Guatemala.
