Our faculty is dedicated to improving the educational experience throughout the medical center and frequently sponsors continuing medical education conferences both at Cedars-Sinai and at off-site locations throughout the Southern California region. These CME events are tailored to help refine the scope of practice within the field of orthopedic surgery and provide clinicians with the tools needed to better manage their patient’s care, treatment and recovery.
The Cedars-Sinai Orthopaedics through the Department of Surgery offers a five-year program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. The program has obtained approval for four residents per year.
The educational curriculum in the Cedars-Sinai Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program is designed to provide a combination of clinical experience, didactic teaching and a research to develop each resident into a compassionate physician and an excellent orthopedic surgeon. The program provides a broad clinical experience in an extraordinary academic environment with the end objective of providing our residents with an in-depth surgical experience.
