Philosophy and Ethics in Medicine Program

This program explores the foundations of medicine and the values imbued in such foundations. Bringing together an interdisciplinary group of scholars and practitioners, the program centers two questions: First, what does it mean to practice medicine? Second, and more foundationally, how should we define medicine itself?
