We are in the midst of a technological revolution that has radically transformed society and is quickly changing healthcare in ways both scary and exhilarating. Increased social isolation, information overload, the blurring of lines between work and personal life, and the end of the patient-doctor relationship as we know it are all concerns that need to be urgently addressed. The mission and passion of the faculty in the Program in Internet, Health and Society is to answer the following crucial question for our time: In a digitalized world, how do we use technology in a way that promotes wellbeing and guards against known risks and unintended consequences?
